Connection of science education, environment, and health through an educational program about water
Abstract
The study focuses on the connection of Science Education, Health and the Environment through an educational program about water. The main purpose is to investigate the views of the university students on the connection of Science with the Environment and Health in education. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected, including questionnaires about preservice teachers’ views, program evaluation questionnaires as well as educational material that university students developed at the end of the program. Analysis of results showed the need for more educational programs with the combination of the three disciplines and the connection with the school curricula.
