Abstract

The text is a proposal for conducting a STEM & Educational Robotics workshop for teachers and university students who are inexperienced in STEM Education & Robotics. STEM has been integrated into typical education and many schools have been equipped with LEGO WeDo 2.0 sets. New additions include microcontrollers, to perform measurements of physical quantities. This workshop is about building a vehicle, analyzing how to drive it using motors, programming it for autonomous driving through Scratch and adding a distance sensor to stop itself in front of an obstacle. Finally we use sensors from the BBC micro:bit board, also to control the vehicle.
