Abstract

In this work, an educational proposal is presented for the utilization of virtual experiments alongside actual experiments performed in the educational laboratory. Specifically, the use of a virtual experiment was tested for the preparation and familiarization of the students with the corresponding real experiment, which they carried out afterwards. The first findings show that the proposed process helps students in preparing and familiarizing themselves with both the procedure and the data processing of the real experiment. Also, students state that carrying out a virtual experiment is more interesting and helpful than preparing for the experiment by studying plain text.
