Abstract

The use of history of science in science teaching has been identified as important, particularly for the interdisciplinary approach of the different subjects of science and in the cross-cutting study of issues such as hygiene and nutrition. This paper presents teaching interventions in Chemistry, Biology and Geography, which were implemented in High School X, designed with an inquiry-based approach through the history of Pasteur's scientific journey, in the context of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of his birth.
