Abstract
In this teaching proposal, students will identify the type of structural particles and the chemical bond by which they are bound in specific materials. The identification is done through experimental activities related to the chapter on electricity. For this purpose, students construct an electrical circuit from its "elements", classify materials into conductors and insulators, and then prepare solutions of three substances and test their conductivity. At the end they interpret the experimental results and through reconstructed texts find the carriers of the electric current in each case and the type of chemical bond.
