Abstract

The aim of this paper is to develop teaching materials that introduce students to the greenhouse effect and explore solutions for its mitigation. The activities are based on Bybee's inquiry-based learning model, incorporating experiments and simulations. The teaching material is supported by an accompanying e-book. It facilitates the exploration of the physical phenomenon of the greenhouse effect and emphasizes the crucial role of plants in managing carbon dioxide emissions. The implementation of this material with students of compulsory education demonstrates its potential to enhance climate literacy among pupils.
