Ο διαπραγματευτικός ρόλος του Ηγέτη στο Δημόσιο
Abstract
The purpose of the current study is to highlight the major issue of labor conflicts and the role of the leader-supervisor in their management in order to ensure the smooth operation of each work group in the Public Sector, specifically in the Public Works Departments of the seven (7) Regional Units and the 37 Municipalities that constitute Region of Central Macedonia. Quantitative research was conducted using questionnaires, approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University of Western Macedonia. Statistical analysis was performed by IBM SPSS 24 statistical program with the help of Microsoft Office Excel 2016 software. According to the employees, conflicts occur in Public services very often and an average of 70% believe that they are not dealt with effectively. The results of the research highlight the need for a different approach to conflicts that will result from the continuous training of employees and supervisors.
