Abstract

This paper delves into the utilization of fundamental concepts of Geography by the student teachers, for the teaching challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. It scrutinizes the incorporation of geographical concepts through activities and teaching methods proposed by the preservice teachers. Quantitative research was conducted, through content analysis, on a sample of written response essays (N=203) of third-year students. The responses were quantified based on coding. The results in general showed that the majority of students successfully manage to teach geographic concepts through activities that incorporate the pandemic.
