Abstract
Quantum theory is one of the most exciting and innovative fields in modern science. However, its abstract and mathematically demanding nature makes it challenging for students. In recent years, various methods of teaching quantum theory in secondary education have been proposed, with the two main ones focusing on the use of digital media and conducting experiments in the laboratory. This paper presents research published after 2014 that examines how basic concepts and principles of quantum theory can be taught to secondary school students, with a method that builds on and utilizes the History and Nature of Science.
