Abstract

This paper is a content analysis of the current and recently (2023) voted School Curricula of Greek education, in terms of Climate Change teaching. Keywords and terms referring to Climate Change are searched in the texts of School Curricula, and their number and frequency of emergence is documented. Consequently, the citation of the phenomenon of Climate Change in Greek primary and secondary education is examined, both horizontally, per grade of education and vertically, per subject. Results show that in the new School Curricula, particular subjects in specific grades lead the way in Climate Change education, without a more homogenous reference to the phenomenon of Climate Change at the other subjects or grades of education.
