Abstract

Louis Pasteur is an iconic figure in the history of biology. His work laid new foundations in the way we understand the world today. He pioneered through his research while coming into friction with many scientists. Pedagogical-didactic utilization of these conflicts could contribute to students gaining a holistic view of science. This paper presents three proposals for utilizing Pasteur's conflicts in order to teach scientific concepts and issues raised through these conflicts.
