Abstract

The present paper is about qualitative research that aims to investigate the cooperation of parents with their children and teachers in the context of the Study of the Environment course, through their own perspective. To achieve this goal, interviews were conducted with twelve parents who have a child attending Greek Primary School in the cities of Florina and Thessaloniki. The parents' responses were analyzed using the thematic analysis method. The results show that parents cooperate with their children mainly by helping them study the course and prepare relevant assignments, but they do not cooperate with the teacher of the course.
