Abstract

Climate change is one of the most contemporary socioscientific issues, often leading to the dissemination of controversial information and myths. This fact highlights the growing need for individuals to critically evaluate such information and  sources in order to make informed decisions and design effective solutions. The purpose of the study is to develop and implement teaching material for pre-service primary teachers in order to cultivate their skills for evaluating information. The material is implemented with 16 pre-service teachers as part of a teaching experiment. Data is collected through audio recordings of the sessions during the implementation process.
