Abstract
This paper presents an evaluation research on an educational program for the utilization of historical scientific instruments from the collection of the Marasleio teaching school. The research is ongoing and the final results will be presented at the conference. The first conclusions show that there is strong evidence that the use of historical scientific instruments can enhance interest and understanding of the natural sciences and at the same time contribute to raising awareness for the preservation of our scientific heritage and highlighting the historical value of corresponding instruments.
