Education for Sustainable Development and Photography: A Narrative Literature Review
Abstract
Art and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) are directly connected in terms of the purposes they serve. Through the arts, students can study their relationship with the environment and society. This work is a narrative overview with the aim of understanding the issue concerning the relationship between art and ESD. Articles related to ESD and art, and more specifically the art of photography, are identified. The photovoice technique is analyzed, which is connected to the concept of sustainability and researches in which this technique was used are listed with their results.
