Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving rapidly and it is increasingly being applied in education. Despite its potential, its utilization in the teaching of Natural Sciences (NS) remains limited. This research aims to investigate the educational applications of AI and its benefits in the aforementioned fields. For this reason, relevant articles of the last five years were studied, with the findings confirming AI as a promising tool, as it promotes teaching effectiveness and enhances student engagement in NS, while it seems to have a positive impact on all educational levels and subjects examined. However, the need for further research and development of educational applications that utilize AI is highlighted.
