Abstract

The present work is about the study conducted during the 2023–2024 academic year with final-year students of the Physics Department at A.U.Th. in the course "Introduction to Physics Education”. It focuses on students' knowledge and views towards the aspects of nature of science (NOS) based on the Lederman’s model, both before and after instruction. The results indicate a positive impact on the understanding of most aspects following the intervention, with students acknowledging the importance of integrating these elements into teaching. However, the successful application of these aspects in lesson plan development requires greater experience and familiarity.
