Abstract

STEM Education is linked to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Teachers play a vital role in empowering students to devise solutions to global challenges using STEM skills. This study explores the impact of teacher preparedness on predicting attitudes towards STEM Education through the development of a conceptual model. A total of 494 Greek teachers participated by answering two self-report questionnaires. A structural equation model (SEM) was used to assess the validity of the conceptual model. The existing literature is strengthened by this study as the main factors influencing teachers' attitudes towards STEM are analyzed.
