Abstract

This paper explores the potential and challenges of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in geography education, highlighting its benefits, such as interactive visualisation and personalised learning. It examines AI's role in addressing global challenges like climate change and emphasises the importance of equitable access to technology and teacher training. The research methodology includes a descriptive literature review, analyzing data on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the teaching and learning of geography. In addition, the paper highlights the opportunities that AI offers in geography education and the challenges that need to be addressed.
