HNPS Advances in Nuclear Physics (ISBN print: 2654-007X, online: 2654-0088; abbrv. HNPS Adv. Nucl. Phys.) is the official peer-reviewed publication of the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society (https://hnps.eu).

HNPS Advances in Nuclear Physics: a short history of the journal

The HNPS Advances in Nuclear Physics was first published in print in 1990. The 1990 volume was prepared to reflect the works of the first Symposium organized by the Greek nuclear theorists in Thessaloniki. The Proceedings volumes have been published every year since then, except in very few instances (2001, 2007, 2019) when the Symposium was not organized for extrordinary reasons.

In 2017, the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society decided to proceed to the full digitization of existing printed volumes in collaboration with the National Documentation Center (EKT.gr). The first volume appeared online in 2018. The full archive is now completely available online.

Since 2019, HNPS Advances in Nuclear Physics has shifted to full online manuscript management, having signed an official agreement (MoU) with the National Documentation Center (ekt.gr) and following its publication and dissemination standards, also being bound by the EKT Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Rules.
