The Proceedings for the recent HNPS2023 Symposium which was organized by NTUA is now open for article contributions (oral or poster presentations).

Authors should prepare their articles using this template only. No other formats will be accepted. Article length should not exceed a 8-page limit for oral and 4-page limit for poster presentations, respectively.

Please submit your work, no later than January 15, 2024, after logging into the Publishing platform

editorial: New manuscript template and submission guide available

A new version of the manuscript template has been prepared and is now available for future submissions. We strongly recommend the use of this version (v.2023) to all authors planning to submit their manuscripts to HNPS Advances in Nuclear Physics.

circular: HNPS2022 Proceedings - Submission deadline

The Proceedings of each HNPS Symposium appear in a dedicated series volume, titled HNPS Advances in Nuclear Physics. In 2017, HNPS has signed a MoU with the National Documentation Center (EKT) to increase the Society’s online presence and disseminate the research results through the EKT’s open access platform eProceedings (ISSN 2654-007X print, 2654-0088 online).

Authors should prepare their articles using this template only. No other formats will be accepted. Article length should not exceed a 6-page limit for oral and 4-page limit for poster presentations.

Please submit your work, no later than November 25, 2022, through the official file uploader.

Thank you all for registering for the HNPS2022 Symposium, to be held at the end of the week. We reach out with some final details:

Guidelines for presenters

We remind you that the final version of the Scientific Programme, as well as useful instructions for authors are available on our website. Those of you who contribute with an oral presentation are kindly requested to e-mail their presentation file to [email protected]">[email protected] by Thursday, October 6.

Arriving at “Karolos Papoulias” Conference Center (see also attached map)

Due to road works at Stavros Niarchos Avenue, the entrance to the University Campus has changed. As you are approaching the Campus by car, you should follow the road signs to “University/Hospital”. Once inside the Campus, follow the two yellow signs to “PEDINI (ΠΕΔΙΝΗ)” and then take the right turn to “Medical School (Ιατρική Σχολή)”. This should lead you to the parking lot of the Conference Center.

If you arrive to the Campus by bus or if you are staying at the Stavros Niarchos Dormitory, you may use the map to reach our venue (2-5 min walking distance).

Symposium dinner

In order to accommodate the increased number of participants, the Symposium dinner has been rescheduled to take place at Frontzu Politia. The cost will be 30 € per person, to be paid cash at the Registration desk.

COVID19 guidlines

The Symposium no longer has a mask mandate; however, masking is an excellent way to keep the event safe and each other healthy. Thus, we encourage all attendees to wear a mask while indoors and/or in outside environments where it is difficult to maintain social distancing, unless actively eating or drinking.

Dear Members of the HNPS, Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce that the 2020 Symposium of the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society (HNPS) will be held on Friday 29 May and Saturday 30 May, 2020 at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”.

This is the 29^th of a series of annual symposia held by the HNPS since 1990.

The scientific areas covered by the Symposium are Theoretical and Experimental Nuclear Physics, as well as Applications of the Nuclear Science.

The 29^th Symposium of HNPS will be jointly organized by the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPP) and the Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences and Technology, Energy & Safety (INRASTES) of the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (NCSRD).

The Symposium will be held at the Auditorium of the Demokritos Congress Center located in the NCSRD campus in Aghia Paraskevi, 10 km away from the Athens city center.

Sessions will include Oral (15 min + 5 min for discussion) and Poster presentations. Registration and abstract submission should be done on line at the symposium website: http://www.inp.demokritos.gr/hnps2020/

As in every year, the Symposium Proceedings will be published by the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society in a special Volume entitled “HNPS 2020: Advances in Nuclear Physics” and will be uploaded to the e-Publishing platform and national indexing accumulation infrastructures provided by the National Documentation Center (EKT). Please note that there is a limit of 6 pages for the papers corresponding to oral presentations and 4 pages for posters.
