HNPS2024 to be held in Thessaloniki

HNPS2024 is the 32nd of the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society (HNPS) series of Symposia that take place since 1990. This year, the Symposium is organized by the Department of Physics of the University of Thessaloniki  and will be held in person on September 27 – 28, 2024, at the premises of Research Dissemination Center.

The HNPS Symposia aim to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on various aspects of Theoretical and Experimental Nuclear Physics. The scientific programme is expected to include the most recent advances in the field, covering the following topics:

• Nuclear Structure
• Nuclear Reactions
• Nuclear Astrophysics
• Nuclear Physics Applications
• Accelerator Physics & Instrumentation

Registration and abstract submission will be handled online at the Symposium website. The HNPS2024. Official language is English. Sessions will include Oral, as well as Poster presentations.

Following the standard practice, the Symposium Proceedings will be published by HNPS in a special Volume titled “HNPS 2024: Advances in Nuclear Physics” and will become available in open access on the eProceedings platform provided by the National Documentation Centre (EKT) ePublishing Service.
