Abstract

The therapeutic value of the groups has long been supported by many different disciplines. Indeed, there is a variety of groups that are set up every day for many different audiences. Some are counseling, others are therapeutic groups, but most fall under the category of psycho-educational groups. Psycho-educational groups usually define groups where the focus is educational, relevant to a psychological meaning or subject. These groups often bring people with similar "worries" and concerns and offer alternative tools to gain control over emotional situations. For many experts, it is undisputed that effective learning can arise through people who share experiences and strategies, To overcome their "problems". Teamwork is beneficial and therapeutic in many settings, especially in schools. Many children who need therapeutic intervention are very likely to take it to school. The present work, taking into account some possible reasons, which make the mathematics lesson difficult and unpopular, which is related to the lack of interest, the lack of interest and the failure to undertake, suggests a psycho-educational program for elementary school students, in Math. The counseling team takes on the usual model of 8 sessions, 60 minutes each. Coordinator is the School Counselor of the region.
