Abstract
The use of art as a tool of critical thinking in adult learning was presented by A. Kokkos in 2009 at the 8th International Conference on Transforming Learning. The method supports the importance of systematic observation and critical analysis of works of art in the context of transforming learning. It consists of 5 distinct stages, while its basic assumptions are based on Freire's ideas, the use of important works of art, the use of aesthetic experience, and Perkins and Visible thinking techniques. The following scenario is intended to illustrate the steps of the above method in attempting to transform the stereotypical perceptions of a group of trained civil servants on the issue of the Organizational Culture of Public Services. Its implementation was carried out within a 5-day training seminar.
