Abstract
In the context of functional language teaching, a suitable for charismatic children, text-based strategy is proposed, aiming at a quick and effective summary of experimental reasoning text in Modern Greek. The goal is to provide a «critical framework» with «open teaching» according to Kalantzis & Cope (1999). Here are used techniques of decoding text factors according to Beaugrande & Dressler (1981) and organizing text tools according to Halliday & Hasan (1976, 1989), in a way that is understandable by Third class Gymnasium students, but mainly by charismatic children of  First Gymnasium class. For this reason, a terminology known in language teaching from Gymnasium and Lyceum school books is utilized; where necessary in school practice more specific, pedagogical and linguistic, terms are used.
