Abstract

The content of this research work is related to the practices of partnership that take place among those likely involved in such a treaty. This research focuses holistically and in depth the content of partnership between the general educator, the special educator of parallel support, the professionals, the special tutor who gives education at home and the parents of a disabled child. The last, attends in general school with the assistance of parallel support and in a therapeutic intervention program at a special education center.

The ultimate goal of the survey is to clarify how the participants approach the terms «inclusive education», «parallel support», «disability» and «partnership».  Furthermore, it explores the participants' views on educational policy in Greece, in terms of promoting partnership, as well as their experiences. Finally, participants refer to challenges and obstacles that encountered during partnership.
