Παιχνίδι και καταστασιακή μάθηση σε παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας
Abstract
This project concerns the development of skills for children of preschool age in situated learning during play. More specifically, I carried out my 2-month fieldwork at a nursery school in the Municipality pf Zografou with young children aged 3 to 5. Through the methodological approach of participant observation cases-examples on cognition, language-cooperation-interaction, socialization and pretend play were collected and examined. The study of the perception of situated learning and play aims to highlight the relationship between them. Applying theoretically and practically this relationship contributes to the further analysis and understanding of the specific patterns. The findings suggest that play, being the main activity for learning, acts as a means of situated learning, supporting the cognitive and social development of children. The aim of this project is to showcase the relationship betweetn situated learning and play in order to understand and enhance cognition for preschoolers.
