Ο αυτοκράτορας Αύγουστος ως πρότυπο για χαρισματικούς ηγέτες
Abstract
The life and state of Augustus, as depicted in his memoirs (Res Gestae Divi Augusti), has been a model for a series of dynamic, sometimes intransigent, and even bloodthirsty, leaders, such as Suleiman the Magnificent, Charlemagne, Napoleon Bonaparte, Mussolini, Kennedy, Kim Jong-Il and Kim Yong-Un, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Apart from the similarities in the way of governance and the handling of political and military issues, it has been found that some of them belong to a rare psychological type (according to Myers-Briggs type, MBIT), INTJ (Introversion, intuition, thinking, judgment), to which only 1-2% of the population belongs. After a presentation of the specific type, the purpose of this research is to seek out the channels through which genius is transformed into charisma, creating the profile of leaders who have acquired global influence. At the same time, appropriate education can make a major contribution to personality shaping, as the findings of research show that a charismatic child, under certain conditions and with clear role models, can be taught leadership and be guided to use it either positively or negatively. Finally, the common features mentioned above that link the leaders to each other will be illustrated.
