Διαταραχή ακουστικής επεξεργασίας σε παιδιά και εφήβους

Abstract

This paper deals with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) in children and adolescents. Its purpose is to describe the nature and symptomatology of this disorder, to analyze the causes and problems that accompany it and to propose concrete measures to prevent and address its negative effects. Based on a bibliographic review of modern international literature, treatment of APD should be highly personalized and targeted to deficiency. Finally, there are proposed ways and methods for changing the educational environment so that the child with APD can focus his attention more effectively on acoustic stimuli.
