Διαταραχή προκλητικής εναντίωσης και επιθετική συμπεριφορά σε έγκλειστους ανηλίκους με παραβατική συμπεριφορά
Abstract
International research and experience shows the increase of juvenile delinquency in Europe, demonstrating the disastrous consequences of the problem for the offender himself and the community as a whole. It stresses the ineffectiveness of rehabilitation programs and the need to design interventions that take into account the psychosocial characteristics of juvenile delinquents, which reinforce and sustain delinquent behavior. Recognizing the limited study of the problem in Greece, this research aims at exploring externalizing problems of juvenile offenders as they are classified and described in the Achenbach system for Empirically Based Assessment. The present study was carried out as part of a more extensive research work in April 2013 in junior high schools operating in prisons. The sample consisted of 45 male students aged 16-19 and 20 school teachers. The Achenbach questionnaire for adolescents (ASEBA / YSR) and a self -referral questionnaire / interview for teachers were used to collect the data. According to the results of the survey, juvenile inmates show high rates of aggressive and offending behavior, which are not addressed in the view of teachers either by the school or the rehabilitation institution. Based on the findings, it is proposed that rehabilitation and reintegration programs for juvenile offenders include targeted interventions to prevent and effectively deal with aggression and conduct disorder.
