Abstract

Intercultural education refers to the educational system in the sense of regulations and events and in the field of education only school. Knowing that school is a depiction of society's diminishing, teachers have to prepare students to live in harmony and evolve into a global community that does not accept diversity but exploits the cultural burden of all its members.

Being overthrown by this thought and given that Literature is the hospitality of the alien, which encourages us to give shape and meaning to our personal and historical experiences and contributes to the creation of an orientation especially today in the fluid multicultural societies. Given that in all micro-communities the basic identity is that of the child regardless of his or her origin, and realizing that every form of art generates feelings and thoughts and works united, having as a tool the folk song, the present work will describe a teaching that will experientially approach culture of other peoples. We exploited the folk song "My Sweetheart" as an overload. The teaching took place in the 1st Lyceum in four teaching hours. The pupils, on the occasion of the song, gathered songs with a similar theme, presented them to the class, identified the common feelings and the ways that they are attributed to poetry. The objectives pursued were the cultivation of skills related to the objectives of intercultural education, the contact of students with different listenings and the recognition of the common themes which, of course, attributes the common life and reflection of the people.
