Το Διαπολιτισμικό Σχολείο στη Γαλλία
Abstract
This study is bibliographical and aims to describe the educational structures through which intercultural education in France is being implemented. First, some basic concepts that concern the concept of Intercultural Education are displayed and then the most relevant educational structures operating in the French education system are described. Among other things, the integration and adaptation sections, the education priority networks, as well as newer approaches are mentioned. It is noted that the perception of educational policy on this issue was gradually differentiated from the assimilation model to the intercultural one, according to which different cultural pluralities coexist simultaneously and equally within a coherent democratic society, far from any discrimination and exclusion.
