Αρχηγός της Ομάδας: Υψηλή Νοημοσύνη ή Κοινωνική Δεξιότητα;
Abstract
The team and its processes are a field of study for the last few sessions. The support of team members and the synchronization of their experiences and expectations are undertaken by the leader, the outline of which reveals the components that lead to the goal and smooth functioning of the team. The social roles and roles of the project attribute the nature of the skills that make the individual leader. Social skills on the one hand as a regulator of communication and intelligence on the other as spiritual capacity demand a share in the performance of leadership dynamics. The purpose of this bibliographic research is to investigate the characteristics of the person selected as the leader of the group and to clarify the role of intelligence and interpersonal skills in fulfilling this role. Although it seems important to contribute to the dimensions of social skills in controlling the conditions and maximizing the motives of members, intelligence has become an important feature of leaders in most of the bibliography reviews. It has been found that intelligence is a strong predictor of efficiency in complex problem solving activities, while it is related to the cognitive ability to develop strategies, integrate and interpret information. The effectiveness of leader's leadership is, in fact, metabolized to the benefit of the group when intelligence is linked to coaching rather than participatory action.
