Abstract

Ιn precocious age a child is extremely vulnerable, remains unable to face alone the twists that occur in his life. The external reality invades violently in his psyche and the floods. So, the world is no longer insecure and predictable, ceases to have one class, a sequel and looks especially sinister and scary.

The school, is the place that students spend a large part of their daily lives, in this manifest feelings, attitudes, thoughts and perceptions and therefore all reactions and their concerns in deeper existential issues and certain events, such as death. After one loss and a death in a friendly and family environment of students, the awarenness of the family and the school can be instrumental in preventing subsequent difficulties, to smooth their progress but also psychological and social in effectively addressing the process of mourning. Therefore, it is a serious and fundamental issue with how, through what techniques the modern school will contribute to changing perceptions of pupils for the death, illness and divorce in the family environment and that will handle students who experience specific situations, whereas there is a shortage of Greek educational reality and has not been given the required attention to this topic-taboo, that teachers find it difficult to handle and negotiate with success, considering that they don't have the training and scientific knowledge.

As teachers, we must first provide children an environment that recognizes that grieving multiple losses caused by severe illness and death. The losses incurred in each of these events are different, and that is why we mourn necessary for the same thing. The lament is neither a disease nor a problem requiring resolution. It is not a psychological condition that includes specific predefined stages or phases but a dynamic process than changes over time and it is necessary to support all for framing in a mentally healthy adult person.
