Abstract

This paper deals with the issue of ICT in special education. In other words, the use of ICTs in children with learning needs and difficulties. Initially, definitions of ICT, educational software, people with special educational needs and special education will be given. Next, the definitions of technological theories, constructivism and behavior are analyzed. At the same time, reference is made to the teaching structure with the use of ICT and interventional corrections. It also highlights the advantages of introducing ICT in the teaching process. The reasons that ICT can be used in teaching are interaction-active learning, emphasis on teaching, critical thinking-creativity, differentiated teaching and interdiscience. At the same time, this includes the role of the teacher, who is changing. The advantages of educational software are presented and finally two educational software for children with special needs. The educational software that is being examined in detail is Learning to Move With Security and Round with Value.
