Η αξιοποίηση των ψηφιακών παιχνιδιών στη διδασκαλία των Μαθηματικών της Β΄Δημοτικού

Abstract
This paper reports the planning, the realization as well as the results of an educational implementation focused on teaching Mathematics through digital games. It has been conducted to 2nd grade pupils at a Primary School of Attiki prefecture. To exploit the sheer instructional games as well as the commercial ones, in terms of learning, collaborating and entertaining within school classroom, has definitely been the goal of this labour. The pupils, having digital games as their basic implement have managed to work out and comprehend the meaning of the problem and its solution. They have also sensed the motif, the numbers over 100 and the multiplication. Based on the principle functions and the methods of educational elaboration of the digital games, the pupils have taken part in a teaching process in which they have teamed up with and finally learned through discovering. Various inquisitive implements have been used for the collection of primordial data, so that the instructional implementation, the accomplishment of the learning goals, the pupils' behaviour and interaction during their team work have been evaluated. The final findings as far as the instructional implementation based on digital games is concerned, are positive.
To conclude, digital games strongly contribute to the teaching process. Pupils have succeeded to gain new mathematical meanings in a playful way.
