Abstract

Mathematics deficits have many causes, the point is that we will deal with them. Research has shown that teaching mathematics in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) environment, is a positive response because it is based on Interdisciplinary and Experiential Learning. STEM teaching is effective/efficient in the holistic conquest of concepts and/or subjects, because the basic properties of knowledge favors related concepts more than scattered and independent. The first (associated) are better organized for a future recovery/recall in the cognitive process. It is therefore necessary to make full use of modern science and technology. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education has provided and offered a lot, but it is necessary to see their current evolution and upgrading to STEM Teaching where the role of ICT remains important. The combination of Algebra - Geometry and Physics - Chemistry with the support of Computer Programs, exploits and links the above sciences.
