Abstract
To stand in society today a child, tomorrow's adult, must have gained basic skills in Reading and Mathematics. The Learning Disabilities in Mathematics create significant difficulties in everyday life. The deficits of Mathematics have several causes: 1) "waste" courses that lead to gaps in the Mathematical Chain. 2) The Improper or Reduced Instruction. 3) The dyscalculia but also the not negligible role of Dyslexia. 4) The handicap in Sensory Memory (acoustic or optical) that makes it difficult reduces the flow of useful information in the working memory. 5) On Attention Deficit constraining the ability of the child to information and also Impulsiveness it difficult to clear / thorough study and also answer finally 6) Stress of Mathematics. This Communication will stand in the child case study with ADHD with clear diagnoses of K.E.D.D.Y. but also by remarkable Private Institutions. To the child we have implemented two educational interventions grounded in Experiential Teaching and saw tangible positive results. This child has been selected because it had the following strengths and weaknesses: Deficits in Mathematics, Reading Deficits, Satisfactory Working Memory, Intense wandering mind (mind-wandering), Limited Focus (Focus under) and Intense Stress in the Mathematics test, while they have established high IQ. Experiential teaching, as now offered with the use of ICT and sophisticated software (GeoGebra etc.), can contribute to dramatic improvements in the teaching / learning process. Having tool slides (Power Point), we achieve the concentration and duration of attention, which is crucial to the completion of an educational activity. Children with ADHD who have good or high intelligence can improve their academic performance. Just need a different way of teaching, from the Multi-Sensory until STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education.
