Abstract
Socioscientific Issues (SSI) is a modern pedagogical framework for Science Education with multiple learning and social benefits. Their implementation has gained ground internationally and there has been a correlation with the development of scientific literacy, indeed Vision II and Vision III. This paper presents the research that has been done in Greece around sociοscientific issues. Information is given around the topics mainly chosen in this case by researchers, the levels of education that have been studied as well as the cases of their wide implementation in student populations.
