The study focuses on the perceptions of young people regarding the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by United Nations member states in 2015 to promote sustainable development at the social, economic, and environmental level by 2030. For this research, a 21-question questionnaire was used, which was distributed to undergraduate students at the School of Education of the University of Ioannina and completed by 188 students aged 18 to 24. According to the findings, the goals for human rights and prosperity have a wide appeal and the perceptions, attitudes and awareness of young people regarding sustainability issues are reflected as well.
