Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the potential of utilizing artificial intelligence in Physics education, focusing on the creation of refutation texts that aid in correcting students' alternative conceptions about natural phenomena. As these conceptions represent a significant and persistent obstacle to learning, refutation texts serve as a strategy that can foster critical thinking and assist in reconstructing of knowledge. This study examines how ChatGPT can support educators in drafting such texts and systematically explores the capabilities and limitations of this application.
