Abstract
A definition of intelligence is that which characterizes it as "directed toward a target adaptive behavior» (Sternberg, & Salter, 1982). "Creativity can be seen as one's ability to produce an original work that meets the constraints of the current work» (Lubart, 1994). Intelligence and creativity are part of the same procedure (the conjoint hypothesis) or represent strictly distinct mental processes (the disjoint hypothesis)? Perkins believes that it is the result of the same cognitive processes (the "nothing special" hypothesis). The threshold hypothesis, by Torrance, notes that intelligence appears to be necessary but not sufficient condition for high creativity. The alternative hypothesis that of three rings by Renzulli, understands the intelligence and inventiveness as a foundation of giftedness.
