The effectiveness of the teacher as part of an inclusive education
Abstract
Teacher efficacy is considered to be the belief in his ability to organize and perform the actions required to achieve specific educational goals, contributing substantially to the production of expected results. In addition, in recent years, in the context of social justice, there has been a strong demand for equal opportunities for quality education for all students. The purpose of the research is to examine the characteristics of teachers with a high sense of effectiveness and its consequences for themselves and for the diverse student population of their class. The findings showed that there are strong interactions between their positive beliefs about providing inclusive education, the educational strategies they choose and their learning achievements. In conclusion, teachers, who guide their students as mentors in the active construction of knowledge, recognizing their responsibility and meeting different needs, achieve high rates of academic achievement and emotional development for all their heterogeneous students.
