Περίληψη

The evolution of AI has transformed the way people interact with computing systems. While AI elements can enhance traditional user interactions to be more natural, accessible, and adaptive, they must also remain user-friendly and intuitive. This paper examines the theoretical framework where artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction intersect, aiming to explore how various AI tools impact HCI. Specifically, it investigates their contributions to accelerating user interface development, improving accessibility, enabling data analysis for predicting user behavior, and providing valuable insights that ultimately enhance the overall UX. Within this context, various AI tools are tested, including Framer, Durable, Uizard, Visily, Userway, Attention Insight, Altair AI Studio, IBM Watson, as well as various IBM APIs related to natural language understanding, conversion of speech to text and text to speech. Therefore, the First Click test was used to evaluate the usability of these tools, focusing primarily on some of the core AI functionalities provided via their graphical user interface. The study concludes with a discussion of the key findings derived from the research, the limitations, as well as suggestions for future research.
