Περίληψη
This study examines the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and in particular Generative AI (GAI) models, in academic writing, analyzing its impacts on identity of the author, the originality and the evaluation of scientific works. Through an extensive literature review, international policy guidelines (UNESCO, EU, editorial guidelines) and examples of practice, the study maps the current uses of AI tools by students and faculty. The need for transparency, documentation and critical use of the tools is emphasized, as well as the development of policies and procedures that enhance learning, ensure integrity and promote equality of access.
