Author Guidelines

By submitting your manuscript to EFoC, you declare that the manuscript reflects original work, has not been previously published or accepted for publication (with the exception of presentation in the EFoC conference), and is not currently under review for publication elsewhere, either in whole or in part.

As soon as a manuscript is approved the authors cannot publish it elsewhere. Future re-publication is contingent upon the Editors’ permission.

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.

Authors should avoid self-citation that might violate the double-blind review process. Self-identifying information that is required should be placed in the Acknowledgements section (which is not forwarded to the Reviewers) and also inform the Editors of the journal.

When responding to a review, author(s) should submit a letter outlining the changes implemented to the manuscript in response to the reviewers and editors’ suggestions.

Scholars who submit their manuscript to EFoC will also be invited to review for the conference proceedings.

The review of invited articles to be hosted in special issues submitted to the conference proceedings is the responsibility of guest editors. The Editors may also access and review invited articles.

Manuscripts can be submitted as a word/mac document. Manuscript length cannot exceed 6000 words, including abstract, text, footnotes bibliography, tables, figures, and appendices.

Manuscripts submitted for review should not contain information that could identify the author(s).

Information about the author(s) should only appear on the title page. This should contain the author(s)s name, followed by short title and professional affiliation (i.e. Assistnat Professor, University of Western Macedonia) and contact address.

Submitted manuscripts should be accompanied by a short abstract (about 150 words) and 3-5 keywords in English.

Notes, when used, should appear in the form of footnotes. The Bibliography section should contain only references which are used in the text.

References in parenthetical citations should be ordered alphabetically and should be as follows: Barry (1990: 144) or (Barry 1990: 144, Santori 1996: 87-8).

The full reference should be provided in the Bibliography as:
